Where is Eagle Waters Resort?
Eagle Waters Resort is located on Eagle Lake which is part of the 28-lake chain. This is the largest inner coastal freshwater chain in the world. We are located about five miles from downtown Eagle River. Take Highway 70 East to Rangeline Road (2nd left past the bridge). At first stop sign, take a left on Eagle Waters Road and follow it to the very end.
What amenities are available at the Trading Post?
Management offices, reception/lobby area, check-in, fitness center, and sauna. We have kayaks, canoes, row boats, paddle boards, tennis rackets, and tennis balls you can use. Just check them out through our front desk. Room key/wristband required.
What are you doing about the new COVID-19 procedures?
We are doing our best to comply with local and state guidelines. We have installed multiple hand sanitizing stations and have amended our check-in and check-out procedures to implement social distancing. We have also obtained hospital grade cleaners for our housekeeping staff to use for cleaning our rooms/cabins, restaurant, and all commonly touched surfaces. We will also supply disinfecting supplies to our guests to use on the pool chairs and tables.
Are boats and docking space available?
We do not provide nor do we rent boats; however, boat slips are available on a first come first serve basis. Meaning you may not have the same slip in or out. Wave runners should be docked on the backside of dock. No reserving slips with ropes, tubes, or any other items. Boats can be rented at our local marinas:

Where do I launch my boat and park the trailer?
Boats can be launched at the local marina for a small fee or for free at the Eagle Lake County Park. Trailers should be parked at the rear of the property in the trailer parking area, behind the restaurant. A trailer parking pass is required to be attached to your trailer. You can obtain it at the front desk during check-in.
Are the bedding linens and towels included?
Yes, blankets, pillows, and bed linens are provided as part of the rental fee. Towels are also provided, one set per person, as many as the unit sleeps. You should plan to bring extra towels for use at the pool. We do not offer a towel exchange. Laundering towels is the renter's responsibility while staying.
Are toiletries and paper supplies included?
There is toilet paper and a started roll of paper towels that are included with each unit. Additional supplies are for sale at the Trading Post. Plan to bring your own hair shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer.
Do the units have washer and dryers or do you have a laundry facility?
The Kee-Mi-Con Lodge Units and Wood View Duplex 12, 15, 16, and 18 have washer and dryers. The cabins and four-plex units do not. Laundry facilities available in the Eagle River area are: Seifert’s Laundry…212 East Pine Street.
Are rooms cleaned daily?
No. Units are cleaned before guests arrive and after they check out. We do our best to comply with the state and local guidelines, however, we ask that if you feel someone in your party may be compromised you may bring your own towels, linens, and sanitizers.
Are there phones in the units?
No, there are no phones in the units with the exception of the Kee-Mi-Con Lodge. Local calls are free. All long distance calls require the use of a calling card. An emergency phone is available for all guests located on the lower level of the Kee-Mi-Con Lodge.
Are pets allowed at Eagle Waters Resort?
Sorry, we do not allow pets. If you happen to notice animals on property, it is because some individual owners have pets. Pet boarding is available at the following:

Are Campfires allowed?
Community campfires are allowed in the fire ring to the right of the pool and in the park area only. Please respect the guests that have accommodations near the fire rings. Campfires must be fully extinguished by 11:00 pm. Eagle Waters provides a starter set of firewood for the shared common ground fire rings on a daily basis. Additional firewood can be purchased in the Trading Post store. Cabins with fire rings are also provided with a starter set of firewood and may purchase additional firewood in the Trading Post store.
Do you have quiet hours?
Yes. Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please use common courtesy with boats, jet skis, trailers, radios, etc.
What is your smoking policy?
State of Wisconsin statue 101.123 prohibits smoking in side units. THIS INCLUDES BALCONIES AND PATIOS. Our restaurant, all cabins, all lodge units, and the pool area, are smoke-free. Please, we request that all smoking take place outside and 10 feet away from any public area and entrance. According to the State of Wisconsin statue 101.123, a person smoking in a place where smoking is prohibited may be fined $100 – $250 dollars.
Can we have fireworks?
No. Fireworks are not allowed. Because of the age and wood construction of our units, our insurance company prohibits fireworks on the property.
What is the check-in check-out policy?
Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. You are welcome to arrive early and use the resort amenities, but please plan that your unit will not be ready until 4:00 pm. Please put all dirty linens and towels in grey laundry bag that will either be in a closet in your room/cabin or dropped off to your room/cabin the day before check out. Do not put comforters or blankets in the bag and do not remove mattress pads and pillow protectors. Help us keep our costs down by turning off all lights, air, and appropriate appliances. We also ask that you please leave your unit in the same condition as when you checked in. An additional service fee may be charged against your account if your unit is left messy beyond reason. When checking out, please lock your unit. Do one of the following with your keys:
- Drop them off in the basket located at Kee-Mi-Con Lodge on the desk right before you exit the Lodge.
- Drop them off in the fishing basket located at the Trading Post, hanging on the wall before you enter the office.
- Drop them off at the front desk.
There will be a $20.00 charge per key not returned. Refunds are not given for early departure or late arrivals.
How do I check in if the office is closed?
If the office is closed, you will find an envelope with your name on it hanging on the door of the Trading Post. The Trading Post is the lodging office and it is the first building on the left hand side when you pull into the resort.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your reservation with 30 days or more notice, we will refund your deposit minus a 15% service fee. If you cancel your reservation with fewer than 30 days notice, you will forfeit your deposit.
What time is the pool open? Is there a lifeguard? What are the rules?
The outdoor heated pool is open from 9:30 am to dusk. There is no lifeguard on duty. When you check-in you must sign a pool agreement that spells out your obligations as a patron and obtain a wristband. The wrist band must be worn when inside the pool area. The rules are posted at the pool and are there for your protection. Wisconsin State Law requires children under 14 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There are no reserving of chairs in the pool area with towels or other items. If the entrance gate to the pool enclosure is locked and/or the cover is over the pool, it is closed. We reserve the right to close the pool for maintenance, during inclement weather, special classes, or at any other time as deemed necessary by management. PERSONS ENTERING THE POOL AREA AFTER HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO A $250 FINE PER PERSON AND PROSECUTION FOR TRESPASSING. PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR MINOR CHILDREN.
Do you have a fitness center?
Yes. We have a fitness center with men and women changing rooms, massage room, and sauna available for guests. It is located in the lower level of the Trading Post and includes: free weights, weight bench, stationary bike (one recumbent), stair stepper, treadmill, “crossbow” bowflex, exercise ball, and videos. An adult must accompany children under 13.
Do you allow tents, camping, RV’s on your property?
As a general rule, no camping is allowed.
What about the game room and sports equipment?
The game room will be open daily at 9:30 am. The game room is open to the public and we ask that you enter the game room as if you were entering any other public place. Shoes, shirt, and bathing suit cover ups are required. A plastic tote by the tennis and basketball court has a small supply of sand toys, balls and other sports equipment for use (please bring your own racquets and supplies as our supply is limited). We ask that you use the equipment as if it were your own and when you are through using the equipment, return it to the plastic tote.
Do you charge for extra guests or visitors?
Yes. Due to insurance requirements we do require all guests and their visitors to register and sign a waiver at the front desk. Additional guest beyond sleeping capacity will be charged $20.00 per person per day.
When do we make our final payment?
At the very latest, your balance should be paid at check-in or by the Thursday of the week you are staying. If you would like to reserve the same unit for the following year, please make those arrangements by Thursday as well. If you do not rebook your unit by the time you check-out, it will be opened to other guests.
What are the restaurant hours and menu options?
Our restaurant offers casual family-friendly dining. Reservations are required. We have a full supper club menu featuring nightly chef specials and children entrees. Check us out! Off-season, the restaurant has a reduced schedule, Please inquire about weekly live entertainment. Please call ahead as we periodically are closed to the public for a private event. Due to COVID, reservations are strongly encouraged.
Do you have a place where we can use the Internet?
Yes. We have WIFI in the Kee-Mi-Con Lodge, Trading Post, restaurant, and some cabins. Upon check-in you will receive the password. In the Trading Post we also have a guest computer for Internet use. The Internet is intended for short-term use such as checking email. It is not to be used for chatting, surfing, playing games, you-tube, or downloading/streaming movies. Your cooperation is appreciated.

All units are equipped with an informative Eagle Waters book on resort polices, area activities, and area landmarks. Eagle River Chamber at www.eagleriver.org or 800-359-6315 provides a local Calendar of Events.
