COVID – 19
COVID-19 Update : December 9, 2021
Eagle Waters Resort lodging is open. We, however, understand the uncertainty of the times we are living in right now with COVID-19. Many are scared to travel and want to cancel/change their reservations. We are working hard to accommodate all our guests. There is nothing more important to us then you, our customers, remaining safe through this stressful time.
OPENING
Eagle Waters Resort lodging is open for visitors, unless otherwise directed. Please follow any changes on this page, as we will continue to update them on an ongoing basis as we learn more from state officials.
As we all know, this is an unprecedented time that we will move forward together. We cannot begin to describe how thankful we are and have always been for the support of the families who visit Eagle Waters. We look forward to your return visit and sharing our Northwoods paradise with all of you again. Moreover, we will continue to work with local, state, and federal officials on procedures and cautions to keep your and your loved ones safe.
The health, safety, and well-being of everyone visiting Eagle Waters Resort is our top priority. Here are just some of the precautionary measures guests can expect when visiting:
POOL
The pool and whirlpool are being prepared. They should be up and operating at the end of May.
Please Note: On March 13, 2020 the CDC stated, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”
Our Certified Pool Operators will be conducting ongoing chemical readings to ensure our water is safe.
We will be disinfecting and sanitizing all common areas with hospital-grade cleaning products.
Immediately following the disinfecting process, we will be applying BIOPROTECT (or something similar) in all the common areas.
There will be additional hand sanitizing stations sanitizing stations throughout the property.
Capacity may be limited.
RESORT ROOMS & CABINS
Prior to a guest’s check-in, we will be disinfecting and sanitizing all guest rooms (and other lodging options) utilizing hospital-grade cleaning products.
We will also be applying BIOPROTECT (or something similar), which uses patented, EPA registered technology to kill and inhibit the growth of problematic bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoans, viruses, and other microorganisms that can exist on many surfaces. BIOPROTECT (or something similar) is applied with an electrostatic sprayer and has a 90-day residual effect from time of application.
We will be requiring our guest room housekeeping staff to wear gloves and masks, as necessary.
In Mid-May we are cleaning and sanitizing the lodge carpets.
For the safety of our employees, we will be asking guests to bag bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens. Instructions will be posted in the rooms.
RESORT COMMON AREAS
The common-area cleaning team members may wear gloves, and masks as necessary.
Expect to see frequent deep cleaning of common areas, handles, faucets, trash-receptacle touchpoints, elevators, buttons, luggage carts, counters….
There will be additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the common areas throughout the resorts.
We will be increasing the cleaning focus on any area where events or gathering areas are held.
RESTAURANT
We will be requiring all of our chefs to be Servsafe certified so they fully understand safe-food preparation and handling.
We will be frequently disinfecting and sanitizing all tables, condiments, chairs and highchair with hospital-grade cleaning products.
Immediately following the disinfecting process, we will be applying BIOPROTECT (described above)
We will be frequently changing out all kitchen serving utensils.
We will be continuously cleaning common areas, handles, faucets, dispensers, trash-receptacle touchpoints, buttons, keypads, counters, and cleaning tools with hospital-grade disinfectants.
We will be making it a priority to exceed the state guidelines for all food preparation and food handling.
Family vacations are meant to be fun-filled and carefree. We are looking forward to brighter days ahead when we can again focus on fun and bringing a lifetime of positive memories to the families we serve.
